How Change Happens: Critical Thinking 2.0

Sunday, October 23rd, 2011, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Speaker: Chuck Sandy

If critical thinking activities don't lead to changes in behavior & real world action, are they of true value? Maybe not. As Anne Radcliffe says "one act of real usefulness is worth all the abstract sentiment (thinking) in the world." With that in mind, I'll introduce some activities -- appropriate for any classroom --that do lead to change by blurring the lines between the classroom & the real world & in doing so, I'll introduce you to Critical Thinking 2.0.

In addition to the presentation, we will also be having our officer elections for 2011-2012.
