Sunday, January 11th, 2004, 2:15 PM - 4:15 PM
Speaker: Jennifer Danker, Matsuyama University
Narrative can be approached in a variety of ways to promote language learning. Stories can be a stimulus to personalized response and discussion, act as a cultural vehicle, mark a starting point for writing, or be interpreted and dramatized. Lesson ideas will be demonstrated and participants will have the opportunity to try out some narrative activities adaptable to a wide range of learners.
