English Lessons for Young Children

Sunday, September 29th, 2002, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Speaker: Sean Thompson, E-kids Yokohama

Sean Thompson will talk about EFL for young children (1.5 - 6 years old). There is a growing demand for such classes in the EFL marketplace and Sean will discuss what these children need in order to fully participate and develop in this area. Thompson will also be talking about how to get parents on board with your goals for their children and how to select materials appropriate for different sub-groups of learners in this age range. Finally, Thompson will talk about various opportunities for teachers both within his school and those wishing to start their own schools for young learners.
