Speaker: Adam Kardos (AAS Press/Gamerize), Kenny King (Maple Leaf Learning), Eric Kane, Nam Chuong, Clare Yoshida (ELF Learning)
Join Adam, Kenny, Mark, and Eric (with Nam and Clare) as they work together to share some of the materials they have created and used in their classrooms. These presentations will be both informative and practical and will cover the youngest learners through junior/senior high and adults.
This is a hybrid event. There is no fee. Attendees are welcome to join us in-person in Omihachiman, Shiga (about 30 minutes from Kyoto), or online via zoom. Online participation is limited to 100 members. We will be joined by Mark Kulek and Jeff Hodsdon with their learning materials as well!
For in-person attendees, we will be holding an after-event social at the studio. To join, please fill out this form by noon, Saturday, February 18th.

Kids learn naturally when we give them the opportunity to do so. In this presentation, Kenny will share the core lesson plan and materials used at his schools that can be adapted for teachers from true beginners to veterans. - Workshop #2: Eric Kane - Hello TRW. Nice to Meet You
In this brief overview, Eric will introduce the flexible components of the TRW Series for those looking for a phonics-based series as either a primary or supplementary text. - Workshop #3: Clare Yoshida - Transition to TRW + IDEAS!
Looking for a complete phonics program and considering TRW? Clare will share with you about her transition to using the series, and share some ideas of implementing it in your classroom. - Workshop #4: Nam Chuong - Using TRW with a Core Coursebook

Teachers want students to talk. Students want to talk, too. But sometimes they don't know how. Everyday Conversations will help both teachers and students connect and communicate with simple, topic-based dialogues that are relatable and easy-to-use.
