Welcome to ETJ East Tokyo. Our first online workshop this year will be held on February 26th. Our guest speaker will be Mr. Malcolm W. Adams, a journalist from the United States and an entrepreneur from Shizuoka prefecture. He will talk about English education from a cross-cultural perspective. He will record the meeting for broadcasting purposes through his Japan Journal online weekly cybercast. For those who do not want to be recorded, please feel free to block your video images.

Malcolm W. Adams is the Founder, President/Executive Producer of Totown Communications Group Japan. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, USA, Adams resides in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture. He has had an illustrious career as a TV and Radio news correspondent for more than 50 years. Among his group of small businesses is Adams International Academy, A.I.A., where he is the owner and Chief Instructor in English and Japanese languages. He first came to Japan in 1976 as a news anchor from KNX news radio, the CBS flagship station in Los Angeles. In 1981 he became the TV and Radio correspondent for the Tokyo bureau of CBS News. In 1984, Adams helped to launch the CNN TOKYO- bureau, with a weekly series called This Week in Japan. He was the producer/correspondent and the host of the program on the new worldwide CNN global news network.
