ETJ Online 2022 (Teaching Young Learners)

ETJ members who are classroom teachers without a commercial connection are encouraged to try giving a presentation. If this is your first time, don't worry. We will support you.

Call for presentations
There will be a national ETJ online event on Sunday July 3rd that will focus on sharing ideas for teaching young learners. Both experienced and inexperienced presenters will be welcome to give presentations. If you haven't given a presentation before, how about giving it a try?

Topic
The presentation needs to be on some aspect of teaching young learners

Length of presentation
15 mins, 30 mins or 45 mins.

Who is eligible to present
All ETJ members that do not have a commercial connection*. The aim is for the event to be purely educational and focus on the sharing of teaching ideas.

How to apply to give a presentation
Please send email and provide the following information:

  • Title of the presentation
  • Name(s) of the presenter(s)
  • Abstract (maximum 50 words)
  • Information on the presenter(s) (maximum 30 words per presenter)
  • The language of the presentation (e.g. English)
  • Any time of day the presenter(s) is/are not available.
  • Length of presentation

* This means publishers, authors of materials or teachers selling services to other teachers are not able to give presentations. The exceptions are authors of academic books and teachers using the ETJ members' free service to sell materials, though the presentations cannot be on these materials.
