How to Make and Use Video Files for Teaching and Learning on the Internet

Saturday, July 13th, 2002, 1:45 PM - 4:30 PM

Speaker: Kobayashi Etsuo

We will first learn how to make video files from videos we will record by a digital camera, and then we will convert them into video files by iMovie on a Macintosh. Then we will send them to our directories of a server by the New WebMaker developed in the project done by a grant-for-aid from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. After that we will put links in our Web pages to these video files and to on-line drills which we have made / will make on WebASC developed in another grant-for-aid project, so that we can combine video files and on-line drills together. These Web pages will be useful to teach any academic subject such as foreign languages, music, math, etc.
