Drawing from Vygotskian socio-cultural theory Murphey will describe and illustrate several ways how students can reveal their mental constructing of linguistic and content material so that others might adjust to them and their Zones of Proximal Development. At the same time he hopes to show how this revealing can enhance group dynamics and emerging language identities.
