Reacting to the Past (a CLIL pedagogy) Special JALT Workshop

Saturday, May 11th, 2013, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Speaker: Nick Proctor (Simpson College)

This two-day event will introduce a new CLIL based pedagogy called Reacting to the Past (RTTP) and demonstrate how to use it in the classroom. Much of the workshop will consist of playing RTTP games so that participants can get a feel for how to incorporate this style of teaching into their lessons. Additionally, presentations will be given aimed at how RTTP can benefit language teachers and provide a new and fun method of instructions that will not only help students learn, but get them to enjoy doing so.
