Speaker: ETJ Fukuoka Committee
Discussion/Workshop: Sharing our experiences
At the core of ETJ are the grassroots goals of this teachers' organization: getting together and sharing ideas in an effort toward greater understanding of ourselves and our work. As we observe the benefits of collaborative learning for our students in our classrooms, we can feel similar benefits by experiencing it ourselves. Being part of a culture of learning can work wonders to develop one's motivation, self-confidence, and problem-solving skills. Whether you are about to teach your very first class or you've been teaching for decades, every one of us has something worth sharing. What will you bring to the table?
Questions for thought and discussion:
Teachers of all ages and situations are welcome.
Social afterwards: Enjoy drinks and dinner in Nishijin after the meeting. It will be a great chance to focus on teaching, exchange ideas, and network with other teachers in the Fukuoka community!
