Moodle Workshop (from beginner to advanced)

Moodle is a popular LMS used around the world as a collaboration tool for educators and learners alike. Its aim is to use web-based technology as a framework for course and classroom management. It is extremely powerful and useful, yet at times challenging and difficult to learn and use effectively. This workshop will present techniques for getting started in Moodle in the classroom. The target for this presentation is primarily educators, facilitators, and administrators. Beginners and advanced users are welcome. The workshop will focus on some of the basic uses of Moodle in the classroom. Simple how-to instructions will be given for both designing activities and using them with students. Participants will be given access to a test Moodle installation and computers with which to play. All participants require is the desire to learn.

Non-members: 1,000 yen (2 for 1 offer: bring a first timer to a meeting, and each of you pays 500 yen)
