At the beginning of June, Kyoto JALT is planning to hold its first ever summer social event at the Gion Hotel beer garden. This will be an opportunity to meet and mix with other members of Kyoto JALT, while enjoying the food, drink and wonderful views from the roof of the Gion Hotel. We will be there from 17:30, when the beer garden opens, until 21:00. The price is 3,500 yen, and 1,800 yen should you want to bring your children along. Of course if the rainy season decides to arrive early this year, there is the chance that the event will be cancelled, but let's hope the weather gods are kind to us.
