Humor is Teachable

Sunday, February 12th, 2012, 2:15 PM - 4:20 PM

Speaker: Monika Szirmai, Hiroshima International University

Many people say: "Either you have a sense of humour or you don't. So there is no point in explaining it." or, "Humour is too difficult for language learners." Rather than focusing on the use of humour as a teaching tool, this presentation aims to show why and how humor itself should become the object of teaching.
