A peace education meeting will be held August 13 - 15, 2011 at the National Women's Education Center (NWEC) in Saitama. The theme is Creating a Culture of Peace at a Critical moment: The capacity of education for people's empowerment.

Aug. 14th morning:

KAMATA, Yoji: Practical Peace Education in Nepal, outcome and further implication

Cates Kip: Saying No to Nationalism and War: The Story of Garry Davis

SAKAMOTO Hitomi: To Learn More about Asia in EFL Classes

Aug. 14th afternoon:

Keynote: Dr. Loreta Castero from Mirriam College, Philippines.

Aug. 14th afternoon:

NOJIMA Daisuke: Participatory World Order Learning

Cates Kip: Teaching about the Causes of War

KAKUTA, Naoko: Education for Live Together, its ethics and action.

Aug. 15th morning:

KIKUCHI Keiko: Time of Change beyond the progressive model, supported by nuclear energy which promoted over-production and consumption

KAWANE Shinya: Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster and Low-level radiation exposure
