Speaker: Call for presentations due Jan 31

The College and University Educator's Special Interest Group of JALT (CUE SIG) invites educators, researchers and graduate students to submit proposals for the CUE 2011 Conference, which will be held July 2-3, 2011, at Toyo Gakuen University, Hongo Campus, Tokyo. The conference theme will be Foreign Language Motivation in Japan. Empirical and theoretical proposals on topics related to this theme will be considered.

Submission dates:
Open: October 1, 2010
Close: Jan 31, 2011
Accepted abstracts announced: April 1, 2011
Conference: July 2-3, 2011

Types of presentations:
1. Poster presentations
2. 30-minute presentation papers

Submission general rules and guidelines

1. No late submissions will be accepted.

2. All potential presenters are required to prepare a presentation title, an abstract to be vetted, and a summary for the conference booklet.

3. All submissions must use the online submission form on the conference web site. Proposals submitted by mail or email will not be accepted.

4. Submitted material should not have been presented elsewhere.

5. Potential presenters may submit only one presentation (poster, paper, or workshop) as a main author/presenter and one as a co-author/ presenter. Multiple submissions as main author will not be vetted.

6. Presentation titles must be limited to 15 words including articles of speech.

7. Abstracts must be limited to 250 words.

8. Summaries should be limited to 50 words.
