Fukuoka Summer Pioneer Seminar

TEMI (Teaching English Methods Institute), a nonprofit organization founded by Helene J. Uchida, the Language Connection's "Primary Advice" columnist, will offer English teacher-training seminars for novices and veterans regarding teaching English to preschoolers and primary school students. TEMI's Fukuoka two-day English teacher-training seminar will be held August 21-22 at Little America, the school Uchida runs in Fukuoka; the seminar will include observing classes, review of methods and materials and discussion in both English and Japanese.
