Thursday, June 24th, 2010, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Speaker: Yuco Kikuchi

By utilizing a picture dictionary chidlren can learn a lot more than we think. In this workshop, the facilitator shares how to introduce a topic and eventually move on to practice the vocabulary in a meaningful way creating the opportunity to communicate using the target sentence. How to use songs in pre-teens classes are also shown. There will be a small display of picture dictionaries and accompanying workbooks from different publishers. The workshop will be conducted in Japanese with English assistance by the facilitator.
