Sunday, March 8th, 2009, 10:10 AM - 1:00 PM
Speaker: Martin Stack and Chuck Kayser
Martin Stack will discuss the role and practical use of websites, computers, and technology to facilitate and enhance English education in Japan. Chuck Kayser will show how he has brought a laptop into the classroom for both large (42 students) and small classes. The use of Power Point will be detailed as well as clip art and word art.
The meeting will also include Kyoto ETJ's ever-popular Game Jam, where everyone is encouraged to talk about an activity that works for them. Everyone goes home with some great ideas for their classes.
Also, the fun lunches afterward are a great way to network and unwind. To pre-register for the meeting, mail: kyotoetj@yahoo.co.jp. For information on our location or our group, visit: http://etjkyoto.theschoolowner.org/index.htm
