Malcolm Harding, who hails from Great Britain, has been teaching in Okayama region for a number of years. He owns an immersion preschool in the Okayama city area and has a lot of experience with the use of testing and evaluation as a tool for helping with student placement, as a means of demonstrating growth to parents of students, as a means of providing a goal for some students, as well as for staff. Testing and evaluating have the potential to be a wonderful tool is used wisely. What mistakes and how to avoid them when using differing methods of testing and evaluating is sure to be something of interest to folks attending.
