ETJ Osaka Workshop: Using Eurhythmics in the Classroom

Sunday, October 14th, 2007, 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Speaker: Lisa Manhart and Yuka Hosoda

A presentation on using Eurhythmics, commonly known as music and movement, or 'rittomikku' in English classes. They'll share ideas used in classes for 1-, 2- and 3-year-olds, but the techniques can easily be expanded for older children. Lisa is an English school owner/teacher; Yuka a 'rittomikku' studio owner and pianist/teacher. Both are from Takatsuki.

Doors will open at 2:00 pm and the presentation will begin at 2:30 pm. After the presentation, there will be time for a Question and Answer session and we hope that teachers will also share ideas/activities that have worked with their young classses. Details of location and downloadable maps can be found on the ETJ Osaka webpage.
