Teaching Japanese Life Events from a Taiwanese Perspective

The speaker is a teacher of Japanese and Japanese culture for International students at Yamagata University. His primary interest is teaching Japanese life events, based on his research: "The change in rites of passage on the Japanese isolated islands - the case of a depopulating and aging society." He will share his perspective on how English has become the means to global understanding.
