ELT Career and Professional Development Conference

Sunday, May 27th, 2007, 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Speaker: A number of great speakers

A full day of presentations and workshops of interest to all those teaching English to adults and young adults - a chance to reflect on your own classroom efforts and to share those reflections with others. The ELT Career and Professional Development Conference is divided into three sections. Each section begins with a keynote address introducing a broad topic and ends with four concurrently run workshops (one in Japanese) on themes related to the keynote. Because space for some of the workshops may be limited, we ask that you help us by indicating your preference in the registration form.

Presenters for this conference include: Curtis Kelly, Tim Murphey, Yoshinori Watanabe, Charles Browne, Richard Walker, Shinichi Izumi, Miyoko Kobayashi, Sheena Palmer, Alastair Graham-Marr, Sarah Morikawa, Brent Conkle, Hugh Graham-Marr, Fergus MacKinnon, Yuco Kikuchi.

Participation will be on a first-register, first-in basis. This event is being organized by the British Council, CUP, ABAX and Cambridge ESOL. The key sponsor is the Daily Yomiuri.
