Speaker: Tom Merner
The main goal of English Activities in Elementary School is to develop the children's positive attitude to try and communicate with others. There are various efforts in trying to develop activities and lessons to realize this goal. However, it is often very difficult to design activities to draw the attention and interest from the upper grade children in elementary school. In this workshop, the presenter will introduce activities that have been designed based on topics and themes that interest such upper grade children and collected in the Junior Columbus 21 series (Mitsumura Tosho). In the latter half of the workshop, participants will be asked to work in groups and actually conduct such activities.
