The 1st Pacific-Rim Conference on Education

This international conference is designed to address issues and challenges that developing and developed countries face in the age of globalization. The conference will be of interest to researchers, administrators, policy makers and practitioners who are committed to improving education. The two-day conference will be held on October 21 and 22, 2006, in Sapporo, Japan. It is hosted by the Hokkaido University of Education, and co-hosted by Illinois State University (USA) and Simon Fraser University (Canada).
