Sunday, September 10th, 2006, 2:15 PM - 4:20 PM

Speaker: Mimako Saeki, Matsuyama Shinonome College

One objective of 'intercultural communication' is to increase the learner's awareness for 'diversity' in values, perspectives, and experiences that people have and to equip them with knowledge and skills, which help them communicate effectively, overcoming conflicting situations. In this presentation, participants will be invited to share some key ideas and activities that can help achieve the goal.
