Speaker: British Council
Not all textbooks teachers use today are designed with communication in mind, or if they are, they often require adapting in order to make them truly communicative. This course will take a practical look at how the teacher can do this. This will include selecting from, adapting, rejecting and supplementing the books you use in your classes. Participants will get the opportunity to adapt a section of a coursebook using the knowledge they have gained from the course. Participants are asked to bring a coursebook which they use.
