Cross-Cultural Communication: Difficulties and Strategies Utilized by Japanese Students at an American University

The presenter will discuss difficulties that Japanese international students at an American university may have when engaging in cross-cultural communication in a variety of classroom encounters. In addition, the strategy types that this population indicates utilizing will be discussed.
