Encouraging English Enthusiasm through the use of Team Teaching in Kagoshima City

Sunday, February 27th, 2005, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Speaker: KAJET Prefectural Representative Ms. Sam Farmer and AEA Mr. Todd Hakuraku

For many junior & senior high school students, their first and most constant source of access to a foreign native-English-speaking teacher is the school ALT. We have had this system in place for a long time...however, is it working? Ms Farmer will speak about the system, highlight its strong and weaker points and share insights on how to make the experience more stimulating for your students.
In the second part of the presentation, Todd Hakuraku will speak about the newer AEA system (Assistant of English Activities) and how this program is encouraging elementary school children to become excited about English.
