Four Presentations

Speaker: Mark Zeid, Gordon Luster, and Ian Nakamura

Today is a sneak preview of four presentations that will be given at the National JALT Conference, Nov. 19-22 in Nara. First, Mark Zeid of Hiroshima College of Foreign Languages will lead workshops on two topics: 1) Writing Effective Resumes for Japan, and 2) Making Classes More Interactive. Next, Gordon Luster (who is an entrepreneur) will describe a web site that he and colleagues have been developing which is designed to help Japanese adult EFL students get more exposure to English at levels they can readily understand. Finally, Ian Nakamura of Okayama University will give a talk entitled Enhancing Communication Through Social Interaction. Members of the audience will have plenty of time to ask questions.
