Speaker: Curtis Kelly
Every teacher must face some students who are bored, indifferent, or even hostile. While there are no simple solutions for dealing with such students, Curtis Kelly examines four theories in psychology related to motivation, moral development, and psychological development that provide fascinating insights. Kelly is a professor at Osaka Gakuin University, and is the author of Significant Scribbles and Writing from Within. This session is part of a pan-Kyushu Four Corners JALT tour, and is planned as Nagasaki JALT's seventh and final meeting of 2004.
