Class video exchanges: Enjoying the learning

Sunday, October 17th, 2004, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Speaker: Joyce Cunningham

As a class project, video exchanges between classes in two different countries have great potential for learning life skills and promoting cultural awareness as well as practicing English in small groups. The presenter will outline the different steps involved in this student-generated activity and discuss the components which range between an email exchange with the target class, storyboards, video editing, a useful assessment tool and so on. Handouts will be given to supplement the presentation.
