Study in Australia Forum

The Australian Government through AEI-International Education Network based at the Australian Embassy, Tokyo, will hold a Study in Australia Forum on Sunday 23 May at the Tokyo International Forum from 11am to 5pm. This major event profiles the quality and diversity of Australian education and will include specialist presentations in the area of TESOL teacher education, health and welfare, and tourism and hospitality.

The Forum will feature over 70 leading Australian educational institutions including over one half of Australia's universities. A large number of English language colleges, high schools and vocational colleges will also participate. For a comprehensive list of participating institutions please visit the Forum Website.

Dr Mamoru, Japan's first NASA astronaut and currently Executive Director of the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, together with the Australian Ambassador to Japan, John McCarthy, will officially open the Forum. Dr Mohri is an Australian Alumni, having graduated from Flinders University in South Australia with a PhD in Chemistry.

The Forum is an opportunity for prospective students, parents and teachers to meet with teaching staff and institution representatives for one-on-one discussions.

A wide range of information will be available in English and Japanese. Admission to the Forum is free. Pre-registration is highly recommended as a prize will be offered to visitors who pre-register on-line.
