Kyoto JALT in conjunction with the Bilingualism SIG will hold a roundtable discussion on bilingual literacy. The evening features a panel of parents and educators who will speak about their experiences in developing their children's reading and writing competency in their minority language. The session will provide plenty of opportunity for parents to ask questions and become actively involved in sharing ways to develop literacy skills among bilingual children.
