One of the goals of the Ministry of Education's Japanese with English Abilities initiative is "International understanding" in terms of open-mindedness and understanding regarding other cultures, the development of an attitude that is respectful of these cultures and qualities, and the development of the abilities necessary for living together with people from different cultures. This workshop for Primary School teachers will introduce ideas and activities based on festivals celebrated in the UK, such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, May Day, and Halloween. Participants will get the chance to try out these activities first hand. Please reserve your place by e-mail or fax.
