Speaker: Alastair Graham-Marr
Alastair Graham-Marr highlights the importance of developing both top-down and bottom-up processing skills to help students develop their communicative abilities. He shows how to break up the skills of speaking and listening into sets of sub-skills, which can then be a focus of classroom activities for monitoring achievement. Graham-Marr teaches at Tokai University, and edits for an independent ELT press, ABAX Ltd.
