Using Learning Theories to Motivate Students

Gregory O'Dowd examines issues related to why teachers need to understand and use learning theories in the classroom. To facilitate an understanding of the issues involved, some basic matters concerning the theory of learning, learning styles, learning strategies and multiple intelligences theory will be outlined. Research finding from some action research studies will also be presented.
