TESOL 2001 Reports, Ice-breakers and Issues for Part timers

Sunday, April 29th, 2001, 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Speaker: Various speakers

This month's meeting is a three part affair. The first (brief!) session will concentrate on members' reports from TESOL 2001, held last month in St. Louis Missouri, and will discuss some of the trends brought up by the conference. The second session will focus on Ice Breakers for the new groups and the start of classes. Bring along any suggestions you have! The final session will concentrate on the issues faced by part-time instructors at Japanese universities. We will examine the type of materials that publishers provide that go some way to assist these instructors in their situations.
