Yokohama JALT and Oxford University bring you Jack C. Richards as part of the 2003 JALT Conference's Four Corners tour. This presentation will focus on trends in TEFL in the last 25 years such as Task-Based Instruction, Co-operative Learning, Multiple Intelligences, and Primary-School EFL. Questions considered will include

  • What is the goal of our teaching English?
  • How can we best teach English?
  • What is the role of grammar in TEFL today?
  • How to approach the 4 skills?
