Speaker: British Council Teacher Trainers
This course is made up of five evening seminars, held fortnightly in Tokyo during the Autumn term (13 Oct., 27 Oct., 10 Nov., 24 Nov., 8 Dec). Teachers attending all the sessions receive a British Council Certificate at the end of the course. In this course, we will identify ways of monitoring and assessing learning appropriate to the purpose of a lesson and distinguish between teaching and testing activities. We will look at assessing both Speaking and Writing and look at how to organise and develop different assessments for students. This will include continual assessment as well as different kinds of tests.
