Qualified? Experienced? Talented? What makes a good English language teacher?

Sunday, October 26th, 2003, 2:00 PM - 4:45 PM

Speaker: John Adamson

This presentation will look at what we consider to be a "good" English language teacher in our own teaching contexts. Issues of training and qualifications as well as being a native or non-native speaker of English are to be considered. The audience will be asked to engage in various interactive activities in groups and to comment on research conducted by the speaker into this still controversial area.
